Roosevelt Row Arts District Murals (Phoenix, AZ)
While in Downtown Phoenix, make sure to visit the Roosevelt Row Arts District Murals. This is a really great day time activity! Don’t forget your camera!
On our last trip to Phoenix, AZ, one of the spots we wanted to check out was the Roosevelt Row Arts District. This district, located in downtown Phoenix is undergoing a major urban renewal. With loads of new restaurants, galleries, boutiques and more. But the reason we wanted to head down to this district was in search of wall murals we knew to be there. So on a hot and sunny Arizona day, we made our trek into downtown Phoenix, and found what we were looking for. And let me tell you, the murals did not disappoint. We had such a fun time walking through the arts district looking for them!
We’re sharing some of the murals we came across while touring around, and if you can believe it, these are not all of them…there are many, many more!
Warning…loads of colourful and fun images ahead!
These wings were our absolute favourite! We all had such a fun time taking pictures of each other in them! You may have even seen some of them in our Instagram stories.
So fun!
This was another favourite. What a beautiful mural.
Everywhere we looked there were murals!
So many amazing works of art! We ran out of steam…it was a really really hot day, or we would have stayed down here longer to see more murals. Next time we go back to Phoenix, we will definitely be visiting the Roosevelt Row Arts District again.
I had to include this picture in this post too…I just love it so much. It was fun watching my teens getting in on the fun…not only were the murals great, but there were a few plant covered buildings that made for great selfie backdrops! 😉 Oh…and make sure you look down when you’re walking through the district…you just might find some fun art there too. The next picture is what my son is taking a picture of. Too fun!
