It’s fall y’all! Tis the season of pumpkin EVERYTHING. And we love it! If you’re looking for some fun fall activities, take your family out to a pumpkin patch! Pick a pumpkin, pose for pictures…it’s the best kind of fun. Here are some pumpkin patches in the Edmonton area, Central Alberta and in the Calgary area:
CALGARY AND AREA
Cobb’s Adventure Park & Corn Maze
Cobb’s Adventure Park is back with their Pumpkin Palooza this season! Take a walk through their pumpkin patch and pick out your favourite pumpkin! Lots of photo opportunities too! Visit their website for more details.

Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm
Visit Calgary Corn Maze & Fun Farm on weekends in October, and pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. They have a wide array of mini, sugar, unusual, and jack o’lantern pumpkins available for purchase. There are also pumpkin arrangements out on display for great photo opportunities! EDMONTON AND AREA
From September 1 until the first frost, visit Somerset Farms to pick your own pumpkin from their Pumpkin Patch! They have twelve different varieties to choose from this year, ranging in colour and size. Visit their website for more information.
Prairie Gardens and Adventure Park (Bon Accord)
Visit Prairie Gardens and choose a pumpkin from their indoor pumpkin patches between 2:30 and 4:30PM on weekdays, and on the weekends, admission is refunded if you stay less than 1/2 hour to purchase your pumpkin. Prices range from $1.50 for Jack-Be-Littles, to $3 for Pie Pumpkins to $25 for Jack O’Lanterns. Visit their website for more information.

For the 2019 season: Due to extreme crop failure issues this year, the U-pick gardens and Pumpkin Patch will NOT be open to the public fall of 2019 .
